Here at Longhorn Solar we are mostly full-time employees (very few subcontractors) to ensure our customers’ solar process is as easy and positive as possible, from start to finish. Louis Petrik
NABCEP Certified Solar Specialist
Louis Petrik is CEO of Longhorn Solar. He holds a B.A. in Marketing from Southwest Texas State University and he considers himself an accidental environmentalist. Before adding solar to the business offerings, he knew nothing about the environment or climate change. He now proudly wears the “Tree Hugger” badge. Louis is supported by his wife, Elizabeth, and his 4 daughters. He has lived in Texas his entire life. He is an avid soccer supporter and follows Austin FC and Liverpool FC. In his spare time, he enjoys hanging out with friends in local breweries, bowling, hunting, and fishing.
Dorlisa Bunton
Dorlisa Bunton is the Financial Controller at Longhorn Solar and has been with the company since 2013. With her love for accounting and finance, and dedication to education and certifications, she quickly advanced into her current role. She continues to seek out ways to gain more knowledge in the solar industry and is eager to learn all there is to know. She is a wife and a busy Mom to 5 kids and 3 dogs. When she is not at the office, she is singing on her church worship team, or volunteering in the Celebrate Recovery ministry. She enjoys being at her kids’ sporting games, watching the latest Netflix series, playing volleyball, or taking family vacations.
