Pioneer Crossing selected as the first neighborhood in our Community First Program
Pioneer Crossing selected as the first neighborhood in our Community First Program
Our Mission:
To serve the community by providing the best products at the best price,
installed (and backed) by the best team in Texas.

What is Community First?

Our vision for the Community First Initiative is to build relationships with, and give back to, neighborhoods like yours.

At Longhorn Solar, we’re proud of our local roots.  We’re honoring those roots by selecting and servicing specific neighborhoods that our employees live in or have close ties to, affecting their communities in a positive way.  You can read more on the Community First Solar Initiative Home Page.

So why Pioneer Crossing?

It’s simple.  We started out right across Dessau Rd. in the North Oaks neighborhood back in 1996 when we were just a fledgling landscape contractor.  It’s a place our CEO called home for over 20 years.  We’ve watched Pioneer Crossing grow and continue to expand over the years.  Fast forward to today and it’s an 1800+ home community, complete with an elementary school that bears its name.  It’s become a place people put down roots.  We like that.

We want to be Pioneer Crossing’s preferred solar contractor.  Here’s our ask, and it’s a simple one:  If you’re considering buying solar panels for your home, we’d like an opportunity to bid the project.  If you took a look at solar more than a year ago and didn’t go solar for one reason or another, a lot has changed in the solar industry and we’d like a chance to show you what we have to offer today, especially if we didn’t bid the project.
